Community Innovation for Sustainable Energy researcher produced a report on the Carbon Conversations project in 2012. Carbon Conversations was a community-based and -led series of 6 facilitated meetings in which groups of 6-8 people discussed the challenges of low-carbon living. It was founded in Cambridge in 2006 and then spread to multiple areas across the UK. The report outlined key insights on the growth and diffusion of community projects, including the importance of commitment and flexibility in developing and maintaining initiatives; and that some aspects of community projects might diffuse more easily than others.
