| Researchers at the University of Western Australia, the University of Southampton, Lloyd’s Register, and the National University of Singapore developed a questionnaire to evaluate public acceptance of the “Green Town” concept in Southampton, UK and Hamburg, Germany in August 2011. A total of 158 responses to the questionnaire were collected in the UK, and 366 responses in Germany. Results showed a stronger preference for “Green Town” than for conventional CCS; and that public engagement in the “Green Town” concept could develop a strong foundation for public interest in CCS projects. |
