We are working closely with partners from policy and academia. We are co-developing work streams with these partners to share knowledge and develop transformative approaches to and understandings of public engagement.


Climate Citizens is a research project based at Lancaster University. The project is focused on improving two-way dialogue between citizens and decision makers over the future of UK climate policy.

The Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) is a department of His Majesty’s Government established on 7 February 2023 after a government reshuffle. The new department took on the energy policy responsibilities of the former Department for Business, Energy, and Industrial Strategy (BEIS)

The Norwegian Centre for Energy Transition Strategies (NTRANS) is one of the social science-related centres of the Norwegian Research Council/ Centre for Environment-Friendly Energy Research (FME), established to deliver world-leading research on the energy system in the transition to the zero-emission society. NTRANS focuses on the role of the energy system in the decarbonization of sectors such as energy, transport, industry, and buildings, as well as our everyday lives.
